Bunjie's Broadhead of Choice: The Rage Crossbow Hypodermic, 100 Grain!

When the deer don’t cooperate and give you a shot, you can at least sit in a treestand and admire that gorgeous broadhead adorning your crossbow!

Man, do I love this broadhead.

And Bunjie approves, too!

Even in a heavier arrow configuration, I am happy to report that this broadhead performs well for us. If you prefer, you can even get it in 125 grain models! I opted to continue to use the 100 grain ones, since I have several packages stored up at this point. I like it that much!

Wanna see how it performs? Here’s a video I shot during my first year using this broadhead. It’s pretty gruesome, I must say. It is not for the faint of heart, but it is consistent with all the other wounds I’ve inflicted with this broadhead. If you hunt with a crossbow, you should consider this mighty broadhead.

It is so gruesome, in fact, that YouTube age restricted the video! Seriously! Now, it doesn't take much to get them to do that, but still, that says a lot. You can still click on it to watch if you're old enough though…

You can re-use these broadheads, and replace blades if you wish. I do not, but that’s my personal preference. I use a fresh one with each hunt. Here is what it looks like after being forced through a wild boar using a heavy arrow rig—about 550 grain…

You can re-use these broadheads, and replace blades if you wish. See below! I like to use a fresh one with each hunt. Here is what it looks like after being forced through a wild boar using a heavy arrow rig—about 550 grains overall. Great penetration and still intact!

And, yes, you can replace the blades. I do not personally do that as a general rule, but I do have a pack of these replacement blades for future use. If you are interested, here you go. Don’t be worried when it does not say “Crossbow” on it—the do say “Hypodermic Standard and Crossbow.” And these work for 100 grain and 125 grain! (The ferrule apparently provides the weight differential.)

There are a lot of little parts in there that kinda scare me and my big fingers but someday I’m going to replace a set. Bought these for the job.
