Bunjie's New Trail Camera--and a New Bunjie?

I ran a poll on the YouTube channel about trail cameras. I really appreciate the feedback from Friends of Bunjie and the suggestions. I discuss the results here. It kinda leads in to the topic of choosing a new crossbow…

Maybe I tainted the results by stating which camera I liked, but in the end…Moultrie received the most votes.

Here’s one of my last remaining Moultries hanging on a young cherry tree. I’m using a screw in trail camera tree mount that you can find on my Gear Page…I LOVE those things!

Well this is disappointing! If you listened to the podcast and came here to see pictures of a nice buck chasing does on state gamelands, I am sorry to let you down. I cannot find those pictures or videos! Yes, the exist, LOL. But for whatever reason I either misfiled them on my computer or lost them entirely. I am disappointed but will share down the road if they surface. In the meantime, here is a young buck who had shed his antlers by this time. It’s still a good picture, because like I was discussing in the podcast, this tells me what bucks are in that area…and we ended up finding a shed antler off this buck (I think) a month later. Still pretty cool!

Those sheds sure make for nice pictures!

At least I can make good on this promise! Here’s a picture of Genevieve’s 2020 Buck (her first ever!) moments before she got a shot at him under the 100 Year Old Apple Tree. What a great picture.

And here is my 2020 PA Buck—my biggest PA buck to date, working the same mock scrape a week or so before I got a shot at him. When I shot him, he was standing about 5 feet to the right!
