Never CANT Again!

You probably know how much I LOVE the Burris Oracle X scope, LOL. Among its advantages of precise accuracy, single dot aiming, instantaneous rangefinding, and a zoom that’s independant of the reticles, it also has a built-in level.

It’s not the most sensitive level, but it appears to become more sensitive at longer distances, when keeping the crossbow upright matters most.

CANTING is the act of tilting that crossbow left or right. It’s probably the biggest problem people have with crossbow accuracy. If your scope zeroes at 20, for example, then canting inside 20 or beyond 20 yards assures your shot will be off.

Even though my Burris has that built-in level…and I use it!…I still like the idea of the little bubble level. I mount it with super glue on each crossbow where I can see it while I’m looking through the scope. I don’t have to move my head…I just redirect my eye, almost verifying it out of my peripheral vision. THEN I can shoot.

Look closely and you can see Ol’ Bunjie dons a bubble level.

These are the ones I use, I love them. They come 11 to an order. Weird, I know. Why not 12? Why not 1? 11 it is. I guess I just need a few more crossbows to put them on!
